In this app we direct you to the graves in the cemetery of some prominent or interesting people, and talked about the Māori and general history of the site, and the various denominational cemeteries.

But what if you'd like to uncover family histories that especially interest you?

There are many ways to go about your own genealogical research. The best place to start is the Auckland Libraries webpage 'Researching family history' and Auckland Council's 'Database of cemeteries' - see links below.

The New Zealand History Online website also has a useful page offering many links to genealogical research pages. See link below.

The Timespanner blog is a terrific repository of stories about Auckland history. You can also contribute your own stories to this. See link below.
